【明報專訊】At the 16th Asian Games, Hong Kong women athletes have been in the spotlight. They have won Hong Kong its first three gold medals. Another "heroine" was born on November 16. Cyclist Wong Wan-yiu (香港單車代表黃蘊瑤, above), who was in the women's 20-kilometre race, did not give up though she had a broken rib after being caught in a spectacular pile-up. She got up on her bike immediately and rode 41 more laps despite the pain. She won the silver. Her perseverance moved Hong Kong people. Even Chief Executive Donald Tsang applauded her on Facebook.
