雙語金句﹕蓋達﹕中日長者未獲善待

「若這些窮人有受伊斯蘭教的教誨祝禱，他們的情况就會不同，長者將得到欣賞、尊重和良好對待。他們將能過輕鬆生活，不用要求金錢或以邪惡手段得到它，又或出於絕望而自殺。」


蓋達在阿富汗的雜誌《花剌子模先鋒》（Vanguards of Khorasan），罕有將矛頭指向中國和日本，批評兩國未有善待長者，趁機宣揚伊斯蘭教。雜誌指日本長者淪為盜賊的個案正增加，突顯日本擁抱「純粹物質主義西方文化」的傾向，至於傳統上關顧老人的中國，長者自殺急升也成警號。
