【明報專訊】Zhan Qixiong, captain of a Chinese trawler, was in detention in Japan for more than two weeks. Beijing has therefore suspended China's high-level contacts with Japan and postponed talks on increasing flights between the two countries. Zhan was released on September 24, but Japan has rejected China's demand for a formal apology.
