【明報專訊】Trams have run in Hong Kong since 1904. There are now 163 tramcars, including two antique ones. On average 230,000 citizens travel by tram a day. Hong Kong's is the largest fleet of double-deck tramcars in the world. In April 2010, the tram company became wholly owned by Veolia Transport, a French firm. Some are not exactly happy about that.
